Code to Image — Snippet Screenshots
Paste a snippet, choose a theme, and download a polished image ready for X, LinkedIn, or slides.
Rendered locally — your code never leaves the browser. No watermark. Monospace styling without syntax highlighting keeps the image dependency-free.
How it works
Code screenshots outperform plain text on social feeds — they preserve formatting, look intentional, and can't be mangled by a platform's line-wrapping. Paste a snippet, pick one of three themes, optionally set a window title (a filename works well), and export. The traffic-light dots and rounded card give it the familiar editor-window look people expect.
FAQ
Is there a watermark?
No — the image is generated in your browser and it's entirely yours. No sign-up, no branding, no upload.
Why no syntax highlighting?
Highlighting needs a language parser for every language, which means shipping a large library. This version keeps the page instant with clean monospace typography on themed cards; highlighting may come later.
What size is the PNG?
Twice the preview resolution, so text stays crisp when platforms scale it. The card width adapts to your longest line (between 400 and 1400 points); use the SVG download if you need unlimited resolution.
